Our Story
How it began...
Andrew grew up on a farm in the middle of Montana, and he always dreamed of building a grain bin house. When he met Jen, he somehow convinced her not only to marry him, but also to build the grain bin house of his dreams.
The couple started designing the grain bin house while they were waiting to haul wheat during the summer harvest of 2017. They planned and saved, and by fall of 2018 they were ready to start construction. This site documents their journey from groundbreaking to finishing their home, along with all of the interesting challenges posed by the unique design.
